I think especially now during such trying financial times, children and adults should be looking to give their time and compassion, or even home made gifts etc vs. going out and getting a Wii or XBOX.  In Jr. high school we collected small toiletries (like you find in a hotel), decorated shoe boxes with wrapping paper then placed the toiletries etc into boxes which were then taken to a shelter.</description>
